The Single Cask, Single Malt Whisky Club
Derived from Adelphi’s mascot and logo, a Punch cartoon of former Prime Minister William Gladstone who, in 1853, as Chancellor of the Exchequer, passed a new law allowing Scotch whisky to be matured "tax free" until ready for sale - the image depicts this famous Scot dancing for joy as the law is passed. We feel he should be given special merit as a forefather of the "amber nectar".
The whisky club's aim is to offer a carefully chosen whisky to our members each month.
There is no fee to join Adelphi's Dancey Man Whisky Club, but simply an understanding that, in order to receive the benefits, each member should purchase at least one bottle of malt every two months, or a minimum of 6 bottles per year.
In return, we offer you first choice of our latest releases, many of which are sold out before they have even been bottled; a discount off the normal retail price; free duty paid storage up to 12 bottles; free delivery on 12 bottles or more (UK mainland only, please enquire for all other rates); and a free 10cl bottle of one of our single cask malts for every new member that you introduce to the whisky club.
Furthermore, although it will not be part of our monthly offers, the acclaimed Adelphi Private Stock Blended Scotch Whisky will also be available to all members at a discount – only £15.00 per 70cl bottle inclusive of VAT.
The monthly offers are sent by email, and we start you off with a free copy of our brochure (on demand) to which you can add each of our tasting cards when they arrive with your bottles.
