Distiller: Allied Distillers

Owner: Allied Distillers

Status: Operational

Built by James Buchanan in 1898. By this time, Buchanan's was one of the "Big Three" whisky houses, along with Dewar's and Walker's, and in 1925, they merged their interests with DCL.

Glentauchers was closed in 1985, then sold to Allied Distillers, which reopened it in 1989.
